Well, it depends. To begin a new adventure, I absolutely recommend get a new game. But if you just want to have pokemon really cool and stuff, it comes with a gameshark. But just watch out cuz GameShark technical problems can greatly affect your game
You should now have a gameshark for pokemon that you can use it, and you get all the pokemon.
GameShark because you get Shiny Pokemon and do many things.
