How do I get the best deal on a rental car? - name your own price car rental
Tomorrow I fly to Detroit and need a rental car for 6 days.
I tried priceline name your own price, but it seems that the best offer is $ 16 per day ($ 126 total with taxes).
I know I have a car as cheap as A $ 8 last weekend.
Suggestions or comments?

Call the company and haggle with them. is probably the only way to achieve lower prices. or tell them that you have found something cheaper rents elsewhere, maybe they will offer the same price.
The weekend rates are usually less expensive and often have a maximum of 5 days. (Thursday-Monday). The course, which you will not always work properly, you can check directly with the owner, either by phone or via their website to see if you give a better price. You can usually a discount by various members (eg, AAA, Costco, Sam's Club, etc.) and companies often have weekly deals and coupons online. Hope this helps!
